Hello Cairenes, Happy New Year!! 2013 was a tough year on our beloved country but we have high hopes for 2014; may it be far more interesting and ground breaking, in a positive way!
We hope you all had a fabulous New Year’s Eve, whether you spent it all glamed up partying somewhere fancy or comfy in pjs with hot cocoa at home =D
We also want to take this chance to thank all of you dedicated readers for your amazing support, you Cairenes inspire us to be what we are; those in between, making an identity of our own. This blog would be absolutely nothing without your comments, emails and Facebook messages, so please keep them coming! You can also contact us through our contact us page.
On a personal level, I would like to say thank you to each and every talented figure, and I’m not just talking about the writers, but this is for every Cairo Contra team member, and for every talented outsider help we received, who helped this blog be what it is today.
My personal New Year’s resolution is to work real hard to make this blog the best reflection of Cairo youth the internet has to give! Our work can be real hard sometimes, as we try to balance our normal lives which include work, college and grad studies; but I promise to put aside as much time for this blog as possible and to find the finest of young talents this town has to contribute to giving you the very best all year long.
Do you have any new year’s resolutions? Is there anything you’d like to see here on Cairo Contra in the future? Let us know!!
