My vision caught from a distance
A gigantic pile of pain
And I could notice your existence
A small figure, trying to remain sane
Reaching out your feeble hand
With an unheard crying soul
Asking for someone to help you stand
But that is no one’s role
You crawled, you screamed and you cried
You bled, you wept and trembled all night
But oh darling, you won’t be saved
Won’t be saved as long as you’re holding back
I know that you’re quite scathed
But now is the time to fight back
No, you’re not weak nor worn out
You’re just scared of re-tasting pain
You’ll meet jubilation if you went out
Out of your soulless chain
Oh, darling, we’re all born strong
We’re all capable of handling life
It doesn’t matter if it took you so long
As long as you’re willing to survive
We all collapse and we all grieve
And by the wind, we’ve all been blown
But soon the bitterness will leave
And nobody remains on his own
If you still reach out your feeble hand
With an unheard crying soul
Asking for someone to help you stand
You won’t be saved as that is no one’s role
Do not wait to be raised
Get up and find your way out of the hole
Oh, darling, you’ll never be saved
Unless you unleash your soul
