Our workshops aim to connect trainers in the field of writing and editing with students and young professionals from all areas united in their passion for the written word. Our interactive workshops lay the basis for an experience you can hardly get elsewhere.

Designed for distinguished level English speakers to understand and apply different writing approaches, and how to write articles and tackle different topics for media purposes.

Mariem ELTagoury

Once upon a time, this one stumbled down a rabbit hole, took a long route to a strange land, was bewitched on the way, became a writer and never came back. She’s also the Founder & Editor-in-Chief of CairoContra, and a professional certified trainer from AUC, with work experience in Daily News Egypt & Identity Magazine.

Amr Shehata

One who describes editing and writing as his “sizzling passion”, Amr was the managing editor of Las Vegas-based self-publishing houses Soul Space (previously Älska) and Verbii, both of which were founded by bestselling authors Sean Patrick Simpson and Sarah Prout. In Egypt, he was Rowayat's literary consultant, the chief copy editor of Daily News Egypt, and part-time editor for Egypt Today. He is currently an associate vice president editor in EFG Hermes' research team.

Lobna EL Zayan & Ola Oreiba

Social Media isn’t a task for Lobna EL Zayan, it’s a talent that comes naturally to her as she goes by. She has extensive experience working with the likes of Equinox Graphics & Spoon Branding Agency, and was senior marketing specialist for Engineeius. She is currently working with the mega digital marketing agency the Marketing & Business Development Lead of Technowireless.

As for Ola Oreiba, she’s an inspiration for those looking to shift their careers to social media. After switching from a career in pharmacy, she started out working as a freelancer for several start-up projects, until she landed a position as Social Media Specialist in Robusta, working with brands the likes of L’Oreal & Oriflame. She is currently the Marketing & Business Development Executive at Robusta.
